Evidence-based Better Value Alternative to Hospital
In Bromley the acute Trust, and providers of community and adult social care have created a trans-disciplinary model of home care for older patients that is lower cost than the in-patient alternative and delivers outstanding patient satisfaction.

This new service started as a pilot study brought together by Saigei, led by Bromley clinicians, and funded by NHS London. The pilot was rigorously evaluated to establish clinical efficacy, patient experience, staff confidence, stakeholder support and value for money. One year on and more than 500 patients later the service is established.

Saigei is currently supporting three further localities in adopting similar models of collaboration to improve the patient experience whilst delivering cost improvement plans.
