What We Look For
We believe four personal qualities are essential to serving our clients effectively.
These qualities make strong, self-motivated individuals who can understand and serve the needs of others.  Our recruitment process explores how much you embody these qualities and seeks to understand what you want to achieve for yourself; for healthcare; and for Saigei.

Independent Thinker

  • Will you understand the issues facing our clients?
  • Will you offer imaginative solutions?
  • How quickly will you understand our practice?

Central to our practice is the ability to get to grips with many valid but different perspectives on a problem and help our clients to find creative solutions. The case study exercise provides an opportunity to demonstrate how you think about problems and develop solutions.

Collaborative

  • Do you know how to be in a team?
  • Are you comfortable with challenge?
  • will you help others to succeed?

A strong team will always outperform even the very brightest individual. We regard team interaction as a crucial indicator of personal effectiveness. We will seek verifiable evidence of collaborative working in your past experiences and during the assessment day.

Communicative

  • Can you structure and argument?
  • Do you listen with empathy?
  • Can you bring people together to perform?

Entrenched thinking frustrates performance more often than poor solutions. We seek people who can change how others see the world, freeing them to re-engage with problems. This takes insight, empathy and clear thinking. Good candidates see the big themes and land their key points.

Desire to Break Through

  • Do you strive to improve and make an impact?
  • Do you have energy, enthusiasm & stamina?
  • How intellectually curious are you?

Achievement and learning are at the heart of our practice. We seek individuals who will absorb and then advance our thinking. We will be looking to assess your determination to advance your own practice and contribute to Saigei’s collective learning.
